Parish Staff

The Parish Priest is Father Bernard Soley, who arrived in the parish on Friday 29th September 2006. Fr Bernard has spent the last 10 years in Maldon Parish, which in recent times linked with Burnham on Crouch.

Pastoral Assistants

assisting the Parish Priest as part of the parish team are 10 assistants, 9 of whom have responsibility for our parish areas. The remaining one, John Hurley, is the minister at the hospital as part of the ecumenical chaplancy.

Vision 2000 (Diocesan Pastoral Plan) gave birth in the Diocese to the formation of people in parishes who are selected by the Parish Priest in consultation with the Pastoral Team/Council to take up a specific role/ministry in the parish as a member of the Pastoral Team.
